About Me

Who am I?

Honestly, I don't know,

and isn't that just the point?

I know for certain I am a happy wife.

A cherished daughter and sibling.

The mother of two wonderful children.

Professionally, I am a teacher

specializing in biology and mathematics.

I like to search for and deliver

clear explanations for complex phenomena.

The exchanges in teaching are beautiful.

As for hobbies, I enjoy photography and advocating for young women in STEM fields.

I suffer from a rare disease called Ollier's.

I have a great fear of English Literature.

(Yep! I still chose not just to write all this, but to share it publically as well.  Yikes!  I know I make mistakes, please forgive me).

An individual who often finds the world sad,

I do love all things silly and absurd.

Like many, I struggle with purpose, meaning,

and emotions, despite the richness of my life.

Hence, the ProsOfProse: Ramblings of an untrained writer, searching for something difficult to define.

You might think I should have kept these, ummm...

works of "some" sort stored away.

Really, why share them at all?

After all, when we share, we are

 exposed and vulnerable.

We all know the vultures are there, lurking.

I suppose I hope that something

I say will resonate with you.

A shared experience, conviction, or complaint...

we might experience a meeting of the minds.

A little less time alone, even if

it is for just a brief moment.

Trivial, perhaps, in an entire lifetime.

But so many things come down to just one moment...
